Introducing: Baroness Dido Harding

Medicine 2019 looks at workforce retention and recruitment

There are just 4 weeks left until Medicine 2019.

Workforce retention and recruitment is at the forefront of discussion within the world of healthcare today, and is of key importance.

That’s why Baroness Dido Harding, chair of NHS Improvement, will be joining us at Medicine 2019 to speak on diversity within the NHS.

In a session chaired by immediate past-president, Professor Dame Jane Dacre, Baroness Harding will outline what is needed to tackle today’s workforce issues, and what we can do to ensure the right people are recruited in the right places across the NHS.

Matt Hancock MP, secretary of state for health and social care, will also be present, discussing his vision for future of the NHS

Joined by Professor Stephen Powis, national medical director for NHS England, and Sir Robert Francis, chair of Healthwatch England, Matt will deliver his talk as part of our session: NHS beyond 70 on Thursday 25 April.

Don’t miss Medicine 2019, the clinical networking event of the year, and the opportunity to have your voice heard in the discussion as we look at the future of healthcare.
